Troubleshooting
FOR FIRMWARE VERSION 2.0+
If you experience a false alarm whilst testing the system, it is likely because the connection between the Tag and the
Guardian was broken for longer than 3 seconds. If this occurs carry out the following steps to adjust your system.
1. Accept the alarm with the OLAS App.

3. Cancel the alarm on the Guardian by pressing the
control switch once.

Adjust the Alert Delay to 4 seconds. This means when the
connection is broken the Guardian will give a warning for 4
seconds, with fast beeps, before it activates the alarm. This can
help you to understand what action is breaking the connection.
If the Tag is brought back into range during this period the
alert is canceled.

2. Bring the Tag within 1 metre of the Guardian.

4. Navigate to the Alert Settings in the OLAS App.
6. Walk to the location where the Tag previously set off
the alarm and then continue walking around the vessel.
If you hear the fast beeping walk back and the Tag
should reconnect and cancel the alarm.
