2 Safety
2.1 Safety information

– Do not make any unauthorized alterations or
modifications to the product.
– Do not move or displace the product under load
or during use.

– Do not sit on the product if not all four legs
have full contact to the level ground.

– Before every use, check the product for damage

3 Product Overview
3.1 Intended use
The Aquatec Pico is a modular shower chair, intended to
be used as a shower aid. It is composed of a stool with

hygiene recess, with four anti-slip and height-adjustable
feet. Optionally available with removable armrests and a
removable backrest.
The Aquatec Pico 3 in 1 is composed of a chair with toilet
opening that additionally provides a toilet function. It can
also be used over standard toilets by removing the toilet pan.
Intended user
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility or limited muscle strength. If used without
an assistant, the users must be able to keep their own
balance.
Indications
• Restricted or limited movements (e.g.: legs and/or hips)
or
• having balance issue to stand up or walk due to
transitional or permanent disabilities.
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended. For the maximum user weight, see 7
Technical Data, page 5 .
3.2 Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery depends on the version ordered. The
possible versions are shown in figures 1 - 5.
4 Setup
CAUTION!
Risk of Finger Trapping
– Take care during assembly.
Installing the feet (Fig. 7)
1. Push the four anti-slip suction feet completely onto the
height-adjustable telescope tubes.
2. Install the four height-adjustable telescope tubes to the
legs and secure with clips.
3. Install the four assembled legs to the tube ends on the
underside of the seat and secure with clips.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury or damage
– Make sure that all eight clips are securely in
place.
All four legs generally should be adjusted to the same height.
As an exception, the front legs may be lowered by one
position to improve the seating comfort when restricted
posture is given due to problems with the coccyx etc.
WARNING!
Risk of tilting
– Never adjust the rear legs to a lower position
than the front legs.
– When lowering the front legs, make sure that
they are lowered by maximum one position.
