ADJUSTMENTS

[1] 1-bit section

1. 1-bit amplifier's output offset voltage adjustment
Adjustment VRA100, VRA101, VRA200, VRA201, VRA300 and
VRA301 so that the DC voltage between speaker terminals (SO801) +
and - is set to 0 ± 5 mV at AC 230 V.

[2] DVD/CD section

Since this DVD/CD system incorporates the following automatic adjust-
ment functions, readjustment is not needed when replacing the pickup.
Therefore, different PWBs and pickups can be combined freely.
Each time a disc is changed, these adjustments are preformed auto-
matically. Therefore, playback of each disc can be preformed under
optimum conditions.

[3] TEST Mode

1. TEST Mode Functions
1.1. Entering the TEST Mode
Turn off the power, hold down the FUNCTION button and DISC 1 but-
ton and press the POWER button to enter the test menu mode. The
power turns back on in this mode and the ROM version appears on the
LCD by default. See below for other items to be displayed.
When the power turns on, Protect monitoring, AMP and power control
are activated basically in the same way as the normal mode.
Then select a test mode using the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons and
press the PLAY button to enter. Alternatively, press a direct number
button while the version appears to enter the corresponding mode
directly.

* OPTION appears in the menu. Make sure to keep it disabled.
* The 8-digit display field in the lower part of the LCD shows items in
"DISPLAY" (see above) according to the test mode.
1.2. Canceling test mode
1. The power turns off unless otherwise specified.
(The RAM clear process is performed only for specified RAMs.)
2. If power supply interruption is detected, the test mode is canceled
and the necessary handling process begins.
