You can change the user name, password, image and security setting after
setup of Windows.
Remember your password. If you forget the password, you cannot use the Win-
dows. Creating a password reset disk beforehand is recommended.
When you set date/time/time zone and click [Next], the screen may not go to the
next step for a few minutes. Do not touch the keyboard, touch pad or touch-
screen, and wait until the screen changes.
When using the included stylus, avoid touching the screen with you hands, etc.
This can cause input errors.
If "An unexpected error has occurred ..." (or a similar message) is displayed,
click [OK]. This is not a malfunction.
<Only for model with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition>
At "Welcome to Tablet PC", you can learn the basic operations of Windows XP
Tablet PC Edition.
6 Create a new account.
Click [start] - [Control Panel] - [User Accounts] - [Create a new account].
Follow the on-screen instructions to create a account.
CAUTION

7 Perform the touchscreen calibration.
Before performing the calibration, close Tablet PC Input Panel.
NOTE
At first, log on to Windows as an administrator, and perform this calibration.
A Run [Tablet PC Settings].
Click (Start) - [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] - [Tablet PC Settings].
B Click [Calibrate...].
C If [User Account Control] is displayed, and click [Yes].
D Using the stylus, touch each of the 16 "+" target marks one by one, and then
click [Yes].
NOTE
Perform the following calibration for each user.
A Run [Tablet PC Settings].
Click (Start) - [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] - [Tablet PC Settings].
B Click [Calibrate...].
C Using the stylus, touch each of the 4 "+" target marks one by one, and then
click [Yes].
<Only for model with Windows XP Professional>
A Click [start] - [All Programs] - [Fujitsu Touch Panel (USB)] - [Touch Screen
Calibration Utility].
B Touch the 9 "+" target marks sequentially with the stylus, and then press
Enter.
C Click [Save & Exit].
<Only for model with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition>
A Click [start] - [Control Panel] - [Other Control Panel Options] - [Tablet Calibration].
B Touch the 9 "+" target marks sequentially with the stylus.
C Touch [OK] and restart the computer.
D Click [start] - [Control Panel] - [Printers and Other Hardware] - [Tablet and
Pen Settings].
