RAM Module

2 Place the RAM module lightly in parallel with a slot.
(The gold terminals (F) are visible)
3 Insert the module parallel to the slot and press firmly until the gold terminals are
no longer visible.
The slot may be damaged if the following procedure is performed without
inserting the module firmly.
4 Press the RAM module down until the right and left hooks (G) lock into place.
When pressing down the module, the right and left hooks will open slightly and
will return after locking.
Removing the RAM module
1 Gently open the left and right hooks (H).
The RAM module will be raised at an angle.
2 Gently remove the RAM module from the slot.

Put the cover back in place.
1 Insert the cover at an angle, then fit it into place.
2 Fasten the screw.
NOTE
Whether the RAM module is properly recognized or not can be confirmed in [Infor-
mation] menu of the Setup Utility (
If the RAM module is not recognized, power off the computer and insert it again.
"Setup Utility").
