Electronics Sled 1-21 Standardization Changes Standardization Changes To standardize the peripherals that Omnicell products use, the Seiko printer and PS/2 keyboards are being replaced by APS printers and USB keyboards with a numeric pad. The console swapped out in this procedure.
These drawers are used to contain controlled substances. Omnicell locking lid drawers provide the highest security. Users can only access one bin at a time which contains the pre-selected medication. All other bin lids remain locked. Special censors generate audible and visual feedback if entry is attempted into bins that are not pre-selected.

Remove any large objects from the surface. Use a towel to wipe off any dust or small objects that may have been left behind.

Secure the Console to the OmniRx frame Once the eBox cables are securely connected, the next step will be to secure the G4 console to the OmniRx frame. There are two screws and two fasteners that need to be tightened to secure the console to the frame.

OmniRX G4 Service Guide Introduction This section will describe how to remove and replace the FRU-level parts in an OmniRx with G4 components installed, including the E-Box, the monitor, the keyboard and the printers. Remove the OmniRx Lid 1. Perform a graceful shutdown of the OmniRx.

Install the Touch-Screen Monitor Install the Monitor 1. Set the monitor in place in the G4 Console. Ensure that the monitor clears the locking mechanism and sets down with all four protruding screws fitting through the respective holes in the stand.
