Installing the Battery
A rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery powers the handset.
Install the battery and charge it for about 15 hours before initial use (p. 8).

Push up on the triangle
of the battery holder to
release (#), and bring
down the holder ($).
Insert the battery into the

handset as shown, matching
the correct polarity.

Bring up the holder and insert the tab into the slot.
Press down the top of the holder until it clicks into position.

Close the handset cover until it

clicks into position.
