1. Servicing the vehicle When servicing (i.e. changing the oil, washing your car) your automobile, the Compustar system should be in Valet Mode. There is a safety shutdown switch under the hood that deactivates the remote starter function if the hood is open.

1/2 second. Safety Shut Down Features Compustar 2WSHR LED system has several shut down safety features. The following actions will shut down the engine or prevent the car from auto- starting: Opening the engine hood, Pressing the brake or Valet mode is turned on.
OPTIONAL INSTALLTURES MEMO The Compustar 2WSHR LED remote-pager has additional features and expansion possibilities that require additional parts and labor. Optional Auxiliary 1 & Auxiliary 2 The auxiliary system is an optional car feature that can be tailored for your vehicle by your local authorized Compustar dealership.
