Ensure that the intended placement of your unit allows access to the necessary power requirements and does not create a hazard once connected. To operate your Spectrum-800 unit, 1. Connect the supplied 10’ power cable to the unit. The connector end for the cable is found on the back of the unit.

4. Confirming the power is properly connected, turn the unit on using the On/Off switch located on the front of the unit. 5. Adjust the fan speed to the desired level, the Spectrum-800 requires a minimum airflow to begin lamp operation.

FILTER REPLACEMENT The Air Sniper Spectrum-800 unit uses a Merv-8 Pre-Filter that is sized at 10” x 18” x 1”. Air Sniper recommends changing this filter once every three (3) months. If using the Spectrum-800 in an excessively dusty/dirty environment, a filter change may be needed sooner, do so at your own discretion.

REPLACING YOUR UNIT The Spectrum-800 unit uses a built in 300w UV-C lamp with a lifetime of 6+ years (55,200 hours, based on 24/7 operation). To track the life of the lamp on your unit, check the “Lamp Operating” LED colour when the unit is powered on to determine the state of your unit.
