2.1 Using the operating instructions

The operating instructions are part of the vacuum system.

In the event of uncertainties with regard to the content of
the operating instructions, please contact the manufac-
turer (contact data: see www.knf.com). Have the type and
serial number of the vacuum system at hand when doing
so.
à
Read the operating instructions before putting the vacuum
system into operation.
à
Only pass the operating instructions on to the subsequent
owner in full and unchanged.
à
Keep the operating instructions within reach at all times.
Project systems
For customer-specific project systems (system types begin-
ning with "PJ", "PM", "PU" or "MPU"), deviations from the op-
erating instructions may occur.
à
For project systems, also observe the agreed specifica-
tions.

2.2 Exclusion of liability

The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages and mal-
functions resulting from failure to observe the operating in-
structions.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages and mal-
functions resulting from changes or modifications to the de-
vice and improper handling.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages and mal-
functions resulting from impermissible spare parts and acces-
sories.
