RTC (Real Time Clock) Options

The terminal in its basic configuration has a system RTC that operates as long as the
terminal is powered on. In addition there is the option Hardware Real Time Clock
that operates continuously even when the terminal is powered off, but still connected
to the car battery. This option provides the ability to power on the terminal according
to a predefined alarm.

Computer Environment

CPU: MC9328XL 150MHz and optional 200MHz
Optional CPU: 200MHZ can be ordered.
DragonBall: ARM9, high performance 32-bit RISC engine.

System and Application Memory

RAM/SDRAM
The Net-960CE-S provides 32 MB or 64 MB of SDRAM, which is partially allocated
for system usage and partially for storage.
When using the Windows CE 4.2 Core license, approximately 12 MB of RAM
memory is allocated for system usage and the remainder is allocated for storage. (An
additional 6 MB is allocated for .NET compact framework).
When using the Windows CE 4.2 Professional license, approximately 22 MB of
RAM memory is allocated for system usage and the remainder is allocated for
storage.
Flash Memory
The Net-960CE-S is provided with 16 MB or 32 MB of Flash Memory, which can be
used to store the Net-960CE-S application and any other, required files (such as
transactions) and programs that need to be stored permanently.
When using the Windows CE 4.2 Core license, approximately 12 MB of Flash
memory is allocated for system usage and the remainder is allocated for storage. (An
