The Thermometer uses one piece UM4 or ' AAA' size
battery ( 1.5 V D.C. ),
Follow these steps to install or replace the battery
1. Slide the battery door in the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert the battery as indicated by the polarity symbols
( + and - ) marked inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery door.
