WALL OVEN
WARNING! Disconnect the power before servicing the oven.
WARNING! Replace all grounding devices and panels before operating the oven.
Before testing any component, always check the connector. The most common cause of
failure is corrosion on the connectors.
Use a VOM (Volt-Ohm Meter) or a DVM (Digital Volt Meter) with a range of at least
20,000 ohms. All checks should be made with the power disconnected from the oven
and the component disconnected from its circuit.

COMPONENT TESTS

CONVECTION FAN MOTOR

Unplug the convection fan from the circuit
and measure the resistance across the
terminals.
Normal
Replace if it is open or shorted.

DOOR LOCKING MOTOR

Unplug the lock motor from its circuit and
measure the resistance across the
terminals. (R x 1000)
Normal
Replace if it is open or shorted.
