Now, whenever you press VOL , VOL
component will control its own volume, provided each component has volume
control.

USING THE SLEEP KEY

The SLEEP key allows you to access the sleep timer of your TV, Cable Con-
verter/DBS Satellite or Audio component. You can access your TV, Cable
Converter, DBS Satellite or Audio component's Sleep Timer by pressing the
SLEEP key. Most Sleep Timers advance in increments of 10 or 15 minutes,
however, for specific instructions on setting your components Sleep Timer,
please consult your original owner's manual.
Even if your original Cable Converter remote control did not have a sleep timer,
your Cinema 5 has its own built-in sleep timer. If your Cable Converter does not
have a sleep timer, press the SLEEP key to activate the Cinema 5 's built-in
sleep timer. For example:
1.
Press and release the CBL/SAT key then press the SLEEP
key once to set the Cinema 5 's built-in sleep timer
for 15 minutes. The red light will blink once.
2.
Each additional press of the SLEEP key will add 15 more
minutes to the Sleep Timer, up to a maximum of 60
minutes. The LED will blink twice when the sleep timer is
set for 30 minutes, 3 times for 45 minutes, or 4 times for 60
minutes.
NOTE: The sleep timer starts 10 seconds after the last press of the SLEEP key.
Once you have activated the Cinema 5's built-in sleep timer, you must keep the
remote control aimed directly at the component.

To de-activate the built-in sleep timer, press POWER.
NOTE: Plugging your TV into the outlet on the back of the Cable Converter may
allow you to turn both your Cable Converter and your TV ON and OFF.
SETTING THE CLOCK

CHANGING CLOCK DISPLAY MODE

The clock is preset to display the hour and minute. To change the display mode :
1.
Press MODE key, the display will change to month and
day. The display will return to hour and minute if no key is
pressed within 2 seconds.
2.
Press MODE key again within 2 seconds, it will display
second on the right two digits.
3.
Press MODE key again, it will be go back to display hour
and minute.
NOTE : At any of the above modes, press SET key will enter the clock setting
mode.

SETTING UP THE CLOCK

Follow below steps to set the current time and day.
1.
Press SET key to enter clock setting mode.
Note : If the SET key is pressed at hour and minute or at month and day display
mode, the display will show hour and minute for two seconds and then display
month and day for the next two seconds , then back and repeat again. If the
SET key is pressed at second display mode, the display will remain to display
the second.
MONTH
2.
Press SET key to enter month setting mode.
3.
Press MODE key to advance the month.
DAY
4.
After setting the month, press SET key to
enter day setting mode.
5.
Press MODE key to advance the day.
or MUTE on the Cinema 5 each
HOUR
A/P
6.
After setting the day, press SET key to enter
hour setting mode with A or P in the
rightmost digit to indicate AM or PM, press
MODE key to advance the hour.
MINUTE
7.
After setting the hour, press SET key to
enter minute setting mode.
8.
Press MODE key to advance the minute.
NOTES:
i. At each of the setting mode, continue to press the MODE key more than
1 second will let advancing automatically.
ii. If minute is not advancing in the set sequence, press SET key in the
minute setting mode, it will exit clock setting mode and commence time
keeping.
iii. Advancing minute will reset second to 00 and suspend timekeeping.
9.
After finish the minute, to exit the clock setting mode, press
SET and then MODE key to commence timekepping.
10.
If required to set month, day or hour again after setting the
minute, press SET key twice and repeat step 2-9.
