IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS You should only plug the appliance into a 220V- 240V AC, 50Hz earthed socket outlet. Connect it to other power sources may damage the appliance and will invalidate the guarantee. Please read through the instruction manual before your first use and keep it for future use. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance. - Page 3 Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before attaching or removing parts or cleaning. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Take it to a qualified service engineer for examination and repair.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

DO NOT operate the Halogen Oven near to where aerosol products are being used. NOTE - This product may emit some odour when it is first used.

Page 9: Before First Use
BEFORE FIRST USE 1. DO NOT operate the Halogen Oven with other household appliances plugged into the same power socket as there may be a risk of fusing the circuit. 2. Remove the lid, glass pot, base and accessories from the retail box. 3. - Page 10 OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Caution: Always operate this product on a flat horizontal surface. Do not operate under or near curtains or other combustible materials. Using the appliance Remove the lid unit and put it on the Lid holder. Then put the most suitable rack into the glass pot before placing the food inside.

Set cooking time and temperature (in ON mode): • Press the Time button (+/-), the Timer indicator will flash, press the (+) or (-) button lightly to increase or reduce the time selected in increments of 1 minute from 0 to 3 hours. Holding the (+) or (-) button will help the increment change faster.
- Page 12 Pause Press PAUSE button to pause the cooking cycle, press the START button to resume and continue the cooking cycle. Pull the lid handle up into the vertical position to switch the oven into OFF position. Push the lid handle down again and then press the START button again to resume and continue the cooking cycle.
- Page 13 COOKING WITH EXTENDER RING While the size of the food is larger than the glass pot, the extender ring should be used to enlarge the internal capacity of the oven, the extender ring fits between the glass pot and the lid. The set-up of the oven with the extender ring fitted is the same as the normal set-up procedure.

COOKING HINTS • The cooking time depends on the size and weight etc. of the food to be cooked. Most meat, for example, comes with a recommended cooking time. This should be used as a guide only as the Halogen Oven cooks faster than conventional ovens so you may need to allow less time to cook the food. -

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE • WARNING: Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children. • CAUTION: Always unplug and allow the oven to cool down before cleaning. • WARNING: To avoid electric shock, never immerse the lid in water or other liquid. - Page 16 COOKING TIME SUGGESTIONS Note: Always remember that cooking instructions are intended only as a guide. TROUBLESHOOTING Check problems using the chart below. If the oven still does not work properly, contact a qualified serviceperson.
