INTRODUCTION

7025 Keypad LCD: LCD DualBand two-way keypad for the Silenya Adv system, coupled with the RFid reader.

the control unit in configuration mode automatically detects the device once the batteries are inserted. Prior to inserting the batteries, read the Keypad instruction manual and follow the control unit instructions on the monitor.

What's in the box

Battery insertion and replacement

Battery – 1 x CR123A (supplied). Replace the battery only when signalled by the keypad and by the control unit.

when inserting the battery, check that the symbol shown in Fig. 5 appears on the transmitter's display, denoting the transmitter is correctly synchronised with the control unit.

Generic error

In the event of malfunctions (e.g. communication difficulties with the control unit), the symbol shown in Fig. 6 will appear on the display; move the transmitter near the control unit and wait for the synchronisation to be restored. Should this fail to occur, check the control unit and contact the Technical Assistance Service notifying the error code.

Installation

Attach the transmitter support to a flat wall that is in good condition. Make sure that the wall plugs provided are suited to the type of wall.

FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

  2. Function keys: the "ESC" key can be used to access the "SOS/test" menu to send emergency requests and run certain tests. The " Enter" key allows for accessing the "Domotics" menu (Fig. 13) or the selected sub-menu (Figs. 10-11).
  3. Numerical keys: the numerical keys can be used to select the desired items (e.g. "1: Area 1" Fig. 11, e.g. "1: Switch on" Fig. 15).
  4. ON, OFF:the "ON" key is used to activate the selected function (e.g. Figs. 8-9, request for "Medical First-Aid" Fig. 13). The "OFF" button is used to disengage the alarm after inserting the code, (Fig. 9).
  5. Control keys:the (Up) and (Down) control keys are used to scroll the menu items.


with the keypad transmitter it is only possible to manage the operation of the devices connected to the system. To fully programme the Silenya Adv system, the control unit must be used.

Pairing the transmitter with the control unit

After inserting the battery, use the wizard on the control unit to pair the transmitter with the control unit. Once the sequence has been completed, the symbol shown in Fig. 5 will appear on the transmitter's display, denoting that the transmitter has been correctly synchronised with the control unit.

Inserting the alarm

Press any key to activate the display (Fig. 7); use the numerical keys to enter the code provided; to insert the alarm in all the programmed areas, select "Total" using the (Up) and (Down) keys (Fig. 8); press the "ON" key and enter the code (Fig. 9); to insert the alarm in certain areas only, use the (Up) and (Down) keys to select "Areas" (Fig. 10); press "Enter" and select the desired areas with the numerical keys (Fig. 11); at the end of the selection process, press "ON" and enter the code (Fig. 12).

Disengaging the alarm

With the alarm engaged, access the "Alarm engaged" window; enter the code (Fig. 9) and then press the "OFF" key.

To access the "SOS/test" functions, press the "ESC" key; the selection window will appear (Fig. 13); use the (Up) and (Down) keys to select the desired item (e.g. "Medical First-Aid").

To access the "Domotics" functions, press "Enter" and use the (Up) and (Down) keys to select the desired device (e.g. "LIGHT" Fig. 14); press "Enter" and use the numerical keys to select the desired item (e.g. "Switch on") (Fig. 15); the "OK" confirmation window will appear (Fig. 16).

The above characteristics refer to an ambient temperature of 20°C (± 5°C) and to normal use of the device in a residential setting.

The battery must be disposed of in the appropriate bins according to current regulations; when scrapping the device, the battery must be removed beforehand.

If the cell compartment does not close tightly, stop using the product and keep it out of reach of children.
If you suspect that the cell has been swallowed or inserted in other body cavities, consult a doctor immediately.
Risk of explosion if the cell is replaced with an incorrect type.
