You can assign a name to each radio station
and store it in memory. The name of the
station currently tuned in appears in the
display. You can assign a name using up to 8
characters for a station.

Tune in a station w hose name you w ant
to store.

Press (MENU) , then press either side of
(DISC/PRESET) repeatedly until
"NAM EEDIT" appears.

Press (ENTER) .

Enter the characters.
1 Press the (+) *
repeatedly to select the desired
character.

1 For reverse order, press t he (–) side of

(DISC/PRESET).

2 Press the (+) side of (SEEK) after
locating the desired character.
If you press the (–) side of (SEEK), you
can move back to the left.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 to enter the
entire name.

• Simply overw rit e or ent er " _" t o correct or erase
a name.
• There is anot her w ay t o st art st oring st at ion
names: Press (LIST) f or 2 seconds inst ead of
perf orming st eps 2 and 3. You can also complet e
t he operat ion by pressing (LIST) f or 2 seconds
inst ead of st ep 5.
Displaying t he st at ion nam e
Switch the display item to frequency or station
name*.

* If t he st at ion name is not st ored, " NO NAM E"
appears in t he display f or one second.
Erasing t he st at ion nam e

During radio reception, press (MENU) ,
then press either side of (DISC/PRESET)
repeatedly until "NAM E DEL" appears.

Press (ENTER) .

Press either side of (DISC/PRESET)
repeatedly to select the station w hose
name you w ant to erase.

Press (ENTER) for 2 seconds.
The name is erased.
Repeat steps 3 to 4 if you want to erase
other names.

Press (MENU) tw ice.
The unit returns to normal radio reception
mode.
Note
If you have already erased all of t he st at ion names,
" NO DATA" appears in st ep 4.
