Read the complete manual before attempting installation and
activating the system.
1. DESCRIPTION
DIN rail relay 10-830 is always used in combination with other components
from the Niko Standard Access Control range.
The relay allows the user:
• to connect the system to an additional bell, a light source, a gate control
or Nikobus via a potential free output contact.
• to connect a potential free contract (from a pushbutton or Nikobus) via
the input contact for the execution of a particular function.
It has a N.C. or N.O. contact and is equipped with a program button to
adjust the settings.

Note!
Disconnect all power before installing the relay. Do not connect
the unit to the power supply until installation is complete.

3. PROGRAMMING
3.a Possible settings for the RELAY OUTPUT:
Assigning the relay output to a bell pushubtton that has not
yet been programmed.

Assinging the relay output to an event
You can cause the relay output to switch upon the occurrence of a particular
event such as:
• pressing the floor bell pushbutton on a particular internal unit

• pressing a particular bell pushbutton
• pressing the door opener button or any other button on a particular
internal unit
• ...
The event can be taught to the relay, so that the relay will switch whenever
this particular event occurs.

3.b Possible settings for the INPUT CONTACT:
The input contact can be programmed so that with each closure it
performs the same action as when
• pressing a particular floor bell pushbutton
• pressing a particular bell pushbutton
• pressing the door opener button or any other button on a particular
internal unit
• ...
This action can be taught to the input contact, so that the same system
action is triggered whenever the contact closes.

Closing of the input contact places the door opener commando on the
bus for the external unit with address 0.

3.c Restore factory settings:
To erase the programmed functionality for the relay output and the input
contact, and to reset the relay activation time to 1s, proceed as follows:

in the electrical installation file and it should be passed on to any new
