    CAUTION Improper usage of this device can cause injury to the rider or operator. The EZ Lite Evacuation Chair must only be operated as described in this manual. Do not modify the EZ Lite Evacuation Chair or any of its components unless you are a Certified Mobile Stairlift Technician, as modifications can result in unpredictable performance and result in injury to the rider or operator.

    4.0 Operation Details NOTE: It is recommended that the operator begin training by practicing using the EZ Lite Evacuation Chair without a rider. This will help them get familiarized with the working mechanisms of the EZ Lite Evacuation Chair and how to safely move on flat surfaces, as well as how to descend staircases with a rider.

    Will this work on carpeted stairs? How about Wood, Cement, etc.? Yes, the EZ Lite Evacuation Chair is made to work on all surfaces. On carpeted stairs, the carpet must be fully attached to the stairs. It will not work with unattached carpets: the tracks will not be able to grip properly and may slip during use.
