Connecting to light relays
The NUBM3–HE offers two light connections: two relay circuits for switching external light sources that are
operated via the handset connected to the module.
Each relay circuit is suitable for switching an external bi-stable 24 volt DC relay. The maximum switching
current for each relay must not exceed 0.2A at max. 30VDC.
Caution: A diode (1N4004 or equivalent) must be connected across the coil of the bed light
switching relay to prevent surges caused by the relay coil from interfering with the NUBM3–
HE's internal circuitry.
The diode(s), power supply and external relay(s) are not included and must be provided by the installer.
The following diagram shows a typical example of where to connect the diodes (5).
