Wall Mounting the Instant Internet 100-S Unit

You can mount the BayStack Instant Internet 100-S unit on any drywall, wood, or cement wall that is
at least 0.39 inches (10 mm) thick and is capable of supporting the combined weight of the unit and
attached cables (approximately 11 pounds or 5 kg).
A set of brackets, self-tapping (3.5x16) drywall screws, and (3x18) plastic expansion lugs
has been included with the Instant Internet 100-S unit. You will need a Phillips screwdriver, which is
not included with the unit. If you are mounting the unit on a drywall or cement wall, you will need a
drill and a 1/4-inch drill bit, which are also not included with the unit. If you are mounting the unit
on a wood wall, you will need a #6 wood screw (not included) that is long enough to penetrate the
wood by at least 1/2-inch.

provides a template for you to use as a guide for placing the screws in the wall.

To use this template:

Trace the illustration onto another piece of paper.

Cut out the tracing, making sure to cut out the holes provided for the screws.

Place the tracing against the wall where you would like to mount the Instant Internet 100-S unit.

Using a pencil, trace inside the holes that you have cut out to mark where the screws should go.
5
Remove the tracing and place the screws where you have marked.

To prepare a drywall or cement wall for mounting the Instant Internet 100-S unit: Use a drill and a 1/4-inch (0.63~0.65 mm) drill bit to drill four 1 1/16-inch (27.0 mm) deep holes where you marked the wall with the template.
