Inserting an SFP / SFP+ transceiver

Follow the steps below to insert an SFP / SFP+ transceiver:
1. Remove the sealing plug of the SFP / SFP+ transceiver.
2. Close the clip of the SFP / SFP+ transceiver.
3. Insert the SFP / SFP+ transceiver in the SFP / SFP+ slot until you hear it engage, see
figure.
The SFP / SFP+ transceiver is then firmly secured.
4. Insert the connecting cable into the SFP / SFP+ transceiver until you hear it engage.
The connecting cable is then firmly secured.
