TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following table provides solutions for problems you may encounter
as you use your Technivorm Moccamaster. If you do not find a solution
to your specific problem, or the problem persists after trouble shooting,
please contact your retailer or service point.
PROBLEM
Brewer not
working;
light not
luminated
Power light is on,
but brewer is not
working
Filter holder is
overflowing*
Coffee tastes
weak or
bitter
Brew cycle is
taking more than 4
minutes to complete.
Water dripping
out very
slowly.
Glass tube in water
reservoir is cloudy
*NOTE: Clogging and backing up of water and/or coffee in the filter holder can occur
under any or a combination of any of the following conditions: the use of too finely
ground coffee, using two or more paper filters or not properly cleaning oils or grounds
from the filter holder, or allowing coffee grounds to spill over the filter.

SOLUTION
Fill the reservoir with cold water
Check to ensure brewer is plugged into socket
See descaling instructions in manual
Rinse the filter holder and make sure the hole
at the bottom of the filter holder is open.
ECBC standard: use 18-21 grams of coffee
when brewing a full mug (water up to the
level indicated on the water reservoir)
Please use standard filter grind coffee.
