IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using your electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the
following:
1. Read all instructions carefully.

2. Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or main body in water or any other
liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when out in use and before cleaning.
6. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for exa-
mination, repair, or adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause
injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other liquids.
13. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
14. The appliance must not be immersed in water.
15. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
16. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
17. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the
manufacture or its service agent.
18. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

- This unit is only for household use.
- Preheating the appliance is not necessary.
Operating instructions
CAUTIONS TO READ BEFORE USING CHRK110:
1. Only use this product with the correct AC voltage outlet. For correct rated voltage see box and label at
the bottom of the unit.
2. Be sure to unplug AC cord when pan is not in cooker, or when cooker is not being used.Remember the
"KEEP WARM" feature operates whenever the cord is plugged in
3. Turn the switch on the back of the ricecooker to on.
4. Place the inner pot inside the cooker before operating. Turn the pot gently to right and left.
5. If the switch button is difficult to press to the "cook" position, do not try to force it down. This difficulty
usually occurs when inner pot is not fully inserted in cooker or when cooking has just finished.
6. Place the lid on your inner pot while cooking; keep the lid in place after serving to prevent your rice
from drying out or discoloring.
7. Keep bottom of inner pot and surface of heater plate free of foreign matter to prevent operating mal-
functions.
