Recording mode

a) Recording: Start recording using this function.
b) Stop: Stop recording. ATTENTION: The recording will be saved in the
internal memory only as long as the power is on. A further recording will
delete the exisiting one. When switching off the control unit, the inter-
nal memory is deleted. For permanent storage use the MicroSD-card.
c) Play: Direct playback of the recorded piece.
d) Rew – Forw: fast forward or rewind during playback.
e) Repeat: allows you to repeat parts of or the entire recording repeatedly.
Set a beginning point by touching once and an end point by touching
again. Cancel Repeat by pressing the button a third time.
f) Metronome: Switch on/off metronome and bell when in recording or
playing mode. Set speed by using the arrows.
g) SD-Out: Save a recording on a MicroSD-card. Therefore insert a Mi-
croSD-card into the card slot on the front of the control unit. Transfer a
recorded song to MicroSD-card by using SD-Out function.
h) SD-In: Play back a recording stored on a MicroSD-card via control
box. To do this, insert a MicroSD-card into the card slot on the front of
the control unit and activate SD-In function. An overview of all pieces
saved on the MicroSD-card will appear. Touch the piece you want to
play back and press the play button.

Metronom

a) Metronom on/off: switching metronome on/off.
b) Bell on/off: switching bell on/off.
c) Measure: Choose time signature via this function.
d) BPM: Set tempo via arrows (BPM = beats per minute).
e) Volume: setting the metronome´s volume.
Micro SD- Card formates
Twintone accepts only Micro SD-Cards formated as FAT32.
Only direct safed files will be recognised. All files in directories will not be
found by the system.
Twintone will only accept Micro-Cards „SD" and „SDHC".
Access time to files will increase with increasing data files on the Micro-
Card.

Sound effects

a) Equalizer: Individually adjust the low, medium-low, medium-high and
high frequency ranges.
b) Effect: Set reverb and chorus effect.
c) Further Effects: Will lead you to another submenu.
d) Ext. Audio in/out: Adjust volume of the Audio in/out connections via
slide bar.
e) Str.: Adjust strings volume when in operation during piano play.
f) Metro: Adjust metronome's volume.
g) Pan: Shift sound to right or left side of the headphones.

Transposing & tone pitch
a) Transpose: Use arrows to transpose key within one octave (g-f#).
b) Tune/Pitch: Regulate tone pitch within a Hertz or Cent range via
arrows.
g
„play along" function
This function is used when you want to add music from an audio file
from an external device to your silent piano playing.
To use this function it is important that you increase the level in the
sound effects under „further effects" (c) at the point „IN" (d).
This is as a standard always set to „0", in order to avoid acoustic inter-
fering signals, if no external device is connected.
After use, the setting should also be set back to „0".
