PLAYING A CD
1.Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3) to begin playback.
Playback starts at track 1, and 4; appears on the display. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3) once more
to temporarily pause playback. 4; will then flash on the display.
Resume playback by pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button (3) once more. The playback symbol will then
stop flashing.
2.Press the STOP button (2) to stop playback. The display will again show the total number of tracks on the CD.
SELECTING A TRACK/PASSAGE
Selecting a particular track:
- Press the SKIP BACKWARD/FORWARD buttons (4, 5) one or more times until the desired track
appear on the display.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3) to begin playback.
Searching for a passage during playback (fast forward/back)
Hold down the SKIP BACKWARD/FORWARD buttons (4, 5) to quickly search the desired passage in the
music and release the button once the desired point is reached.
Playback is resumed from that point.
PROGRAMMING THE SEQUENCE OF PLAYBACK
When the CD player is not playing, you can program the sequence of playback. You can enter up to 20
tracks into the memory in random order.
1.Stop playback and press the PROGRAM button (10) to activate programming. PROGRAM 01 will
flash on the display.
2.Use the SKIP FORWARD button (5) to select the track you wish to program first.
3.Press the PROGRAM button (10) to program that track. 02 now starts flashing on the display.
4.Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired tracks have been programmed.
5.Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (3) to playback the tracks in the programmed sequence. PROGRAM 04
appears on the display.
6.Press the STOP button (2) to stop playback.
Clearing the memory (programmed sequence)
You can clear the program in two ways:
1. Stop playback and press the STOP button (2) again, or
2. Open the door of the CD compartment. This also clears the memory.
REPEAT
You can repeat one or all tracks on the CD.
Repeating a single track
1.Press the REPEAT button once during playback; REPEAT then flashes on the display. The current track
is repeated until the STOP button (2) is pressed.
2.Press the REPEAT button (14) twice to cancel repeat playback. REPEAT disappears from the display.
Repeating the entire CD
1.Press the REPEAT button twice during playback; REPEAT then flashes on the display. The entire CD is
repeated until the STOP button (2) is pressed.
2.Press the REPEAT button (14) once to cancel repeat playback. REPEAT disappears from the display.
Note: You can also use the REPEAT function if no CD is playing.
