ELECTRICAL SERVICE
See Figure 23.
IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the circuit,
replace fuses with fuses of the same
amperage rating. Determine the cause of
electrical failure and repair before replacing
failed electrical components.
The machine is equipped with one 25-amp
fuse to protect the charging circuit. This fuse
is located on the main harness, near the
engine ground.
1. Remove defective fuse.
2. Determine cause of fuse failure and
repair condition.
3. Install new fuse.

ADJUST DECK HEIGHT –
FIXED/FLOAT OPTION
See Figure 24.
To raise or lower the deck height, remove the
hair pins and place in the appropriate holes
on the height-of-cut pins to achieve desired
deck height.
Fixed Operation: Place hair pins directly
below the frame to eliminate vertical travel of
the deck during operation.
Float Operation: Place hair pins in the lowest
hole location below the frame.
NOTICE: Ensure that hair pins are located in
the same holes at all deck mounting
locations. Always store the hair pins on the
height-of-cut pins.

ADJUST STEERING LEVERS
See Figure 25.
1. Stop engine, remove key and wait for all
moving parts to stop and for hot parts to
cool.
2. Release steering or control levers.
3. Shift transmission into neutral. Operate
steering or control lever several times. Do
not move unit.
4. Remove the hair pin and disconnect the
trunnion from the wheel clutch weldment.
5. Adjust the trunnion on the steering control
rod until the gap between the ends of the
steering lever and handlebar grip is
7.6 cm – 8.3 cm (3" – 3 1/4").
6. Connect trunnion to wheel clutch
weldment and secure with hair pin.
7. Repeat for other steering lever.
