Make a call

Use the keypad

• Open the device, and enter the
phone number, including the area
code.
To delete a character to the left of
the cursor, select Clear.
• Press the call key. Press the volume
keys to adjust the volume during
the call.
• Press the end key, or close the fold
to end the call or to cancel the call
attempt.

Use the contacts list

To enter a number into the contacts
list, in standby mode, select
Contacts, and enter the name and
phone number. See
"Contacts list
options", p. 18.
In standby mode, scroll down to find
the name or number you want. Press
the call key to call the number.

Redialling a number

To redial one of the last 20 phone
numbers that you have called, press
the call key, scroll to the desired name
or number, and press the call key again.

Speed dialling

Speed dialling must be switched on
before you can use it. To switch it on,
select
> On.
You can set keys 2–9 as speed dialling
keys. After you assign a number to a
key, press and hold the key in standby
mode to make a call, or press the
number and the call key.
Assign a number to a key
1. Select
dials
2. Scroll to the desired key, and select
Assign. If a phone number is
already assigned, select
view, change, or delete the
assignment.

messaging or
voice calls.

Answer calls

Answer a call

Open the fold and press the call key.
If you do not press the call key, the call
goes to your voice mailbox. To decline
a call without answering it, open the
fold and quickly close it, or press the
end key.
