Connecting video source devices You need only connect the projector to a video source device using just one of the connecting methods, however each provides a different level of video quality. Playing sound through the projector You can make use of the projector speaker in your presentations, and also connect separate amplified speakers to the AUD IO O UT socket of the projector. If you have a separate sound system, you will most likely want to connect the audio output of your Video source device to that sound system, instead of to the audio projector.

Selecting the aspect ratio The 'aspect ratio' is the ratio of the image width to the image height. Most analog TV and computers are in 4:3 ratio, and digital TV and DVD s are usually in 16:9 ratio. W ith the advent of digital signal processing, digital display devices like this projector can dynamically stretch and scale the image output to a different aspect than that of the image input signal.

About the aspect ratio In the pictures below, the black portions are inactive areas and the white portions are active areas. OSD menus can be displayed on those unused black areas. Maintenance Care of the projector Your projector needs little maintenance. The only thing you need to do on a regular basis is to keep the lens clean. N ever remove any parts of the projector except the lamp. Contact your dealer if other parts need replacing.
Lamp information Getting to know the lamp hour W hen the projector is in operation, the duration (in hours) of lamp usage is automatically calculated by the built-in timer.
