The NU35 is available with dual power: the built-in Li-ion battery (590mAh) and additional 3 x AAA batteries. When AAA batteries are inserted, it will give priority to using AAA batteries.

Connecting the Power Source: As illustrated, after uncapping the charging port cover, use the USB cable to connect an external power supply (e.g. a USB adapter or other USB charging devices) to the charging port to begin the charging process.
Charging Indication: During the charging process, the power indicator beside the primary light will be steadily glowing red. When the battery is fully charged, it will automatically cease the charging process and the power indicator will turn green.
Note:
Insert the batteries as illustrated and click to close the battery holder.
Note: Ensure the 3 x AAA batteries are inserted according to the polarity labels.
The NU35 has dual switches as illustrated.
On: When the primary light is off, short press the Power Button to access the LOW Level of the primary light.
Off: When no action is taken in 3 seconds after the primary light is turned on, short press the Power Button to turn it off.
Within 3 seconds after the primary light is turned on, short press the Power Button repeatedly to cycle through the following brightness levels: LOW – MID – HIGH – OFF.
When the primary light is on, long press the Power Button for over 1 second to access TURBO. Note: The NU35 will regulate its output to avoid overheating when accessing TURBO for 30 seconds.
On: When the light is off, long press the Power Button for 1 second to turn on the auxiliary white light.
Off: When the auxiliary white light is on, short press the Power Button to turn it off.
On: When the red light is off, short press the R Button to access the LOW Level of the auxiliary red light.
Off: When no action is taken in 3 seconds after the red light is turned on, short press the R Button to turn it off.
When the red light is on, long pressing the R Button can also turn it off.
Within 3 seconds after accessing the RED LOW Level, short press the R Button repeatedly to cycle through the following modes: RED LOW – RED HIGH – RED WARNING FLASHING – OFF.
When the light is off, keep holding the Power Button to access the SOS Mode after accessing the auxiliary white light. Short press the Power Button again within 3 seconds to switch to the BEACON Mode. Then short press the Power Button again to turn it off.
When no action is taken in 3 seconds in either special mode, short pressing the Power Button can also turn it off.
When the light is off, long press the R Button and the power indicator beside the primary light will flash to indicate the remaining power of the built-in Li-ion battery:
Note: Please recharge the product or use the other power option if the built-in battery power is low.

After that, all defective / malfunctioning NITECORE® products can be repaired free of charge within 24 months from the date of purchase.
