Safety

Electric shock hazard

• Never attempt to repair the fan yourself. Let all repairs be
carried out by qualified service personnel.
• Never immerse the fan in water or any other type of liquid.
Never hold the fan under running water.
• The power cord must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by the manufacturer, authorised service facility or
a qualified tradesman.
Warning
• Risk of personal injury – in order to avoid personal injury
and damage to the fan, keep hands, hair, clothing and other
objects away from the protective fan grille during use.
• Risk of personal injury – never operate the fan if its safety grille
is improperly fitted, missing or damaged. The safety grille
must be intact and correctly fitted whenever the fan is in use.
• Heed all safety guidelines in order to avoid personal injury due
to improper use. Pay attention to all warnings on the fan.
• Never handle or use the fan with wet hands or if you are
standing on a wet surface. Never handle the power cord with
wet or moist hands.
• Route the power cord in such a way that there is no risk of
anyone tripping over it.
• Do not use the fan where flammable or explosive substances
are used or stored.
