. Lithium battery is an important part to maintain safety.
Replacing the lithium battery with an unspecifi ed part may cause fi re or electric shock. Be sure to use the lithium battery
specifi ed in the manual.
. Before starting replacement, be sure to unplug the power cable from an electrical outlet.

When installing a new lithium battery, set it with the correct +/_ orientation.
If the battery is connected wrongly, it may result in injury or damage to surrounding objects due to burst or leakage.

When the battery is consumed to a certain level, the clock data cannot be retained normally.

Removing/Installing

Do not directly touch the lithium battery to pre-
vent the electrodes from rusting.
1. Remove the top cover.
(Refer to Section 1-2-1.)
2. Remove the lithium battery using an insulat-
ing stick.

Be sure to use an insulating stick to remove
the lithium battery.
3. Install a new lithium battery.
4. Attach the top cover.
Actions to Be Taken after Replacement
Turn on the power of this unit. After this unit
becomes operable, set date and time.
