Please note the included General Safety Notes and the
following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or
physical injury:
 Please read this manual carefully and use the device only
according to this manual.
 Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of the
reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the device, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
 Close supervision is necessary when the can opener is used by or near
children. Ensure that they do not play with the can opener. It is not a toy.
 Do not open pressurized (aerosol-type) cans.
 Do not open cans of flammable liquids such as lighter fluids.
 Make sure the motor has stopped completely before lifting up the battery
door for battery replacement.
 Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, jewellery, clothing etc.
away from moving parts during operation to prevent injury and/or damage
to the can opener.
 Do not immerse the can opener in water or any other liquids.
 Do not try to adjust or remove the cutter screw.
 Do not clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
 Use only batteries of the same type.
 If you do not plan to use the appliance for some time, remove the batteries.
 Do not disassemble, burn or short-circuit batteries and do not attempt to
recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
 Should the appliance become damaged, do not use it and have it repaired by
a professional or contact our customer service. Do not disassemble the
appliance or try repairing it yourself.
