    4.0 DESCRIPTION The Sweeney Digital Turning Tool (DTT) provides a highly accurate way of rotating components of a turbine engine to facilitate inspection of the engine with the use of a borescope. The system controls a motor and gear assembly that turns the turbine engine at a controlled rate of rotation by a controlled number of degrees forward or reverse to position engine turbine blades for inspection by the operator.
