    PREPARATION Loading photos and business cards 1. Position the brackets according to the marked dimensions on the card tray and the size of your photo/card. Note: For 5”x7” photos, the brackets do not need to be fitted into the photo/card tray. 2.
  • Page 7 Loading slide film 1. Hold up the slide film toward the light. The slide should appear normal, and not be a mirror image. If mirrored, turn the slide so the image appears normal. 2. Rotate the slide 180° so the image is upside down when looking at the same side. 3.

    OPERATION Powering on/off To power on: 1. Turn on your computer. Connect one end of the USB cable into the Micro-USB port of the scanner. Connect the other end into the USB port of your computer. Alternatively, connect one end of the USB cable into the adapter, then connect the other end into the Micro-USB port of the scanner.

  • Page 11 Basic photo and business card scanning 1. Ensure the scanner switches are pushed to the right to ‘Photo scanner’ and any slide or negative film holders are removed from the slider slot. The photo scan indicator will also illuminate. A notification will appear on the display to remind users as seen below. 2.
  • Page 12 4. For photos/cards that require no adjustments, press the scan button. This will open the capture menu. Use the left and right buttons to highlight the ‘Save’ icon then press the enter button to save the photo/card into the internal memory/SD card. The display will then return to the live view after saving.
  • Page 13 3. Use the left and right buttons to highlight the ‘Capture mode’ icon on the display, then press the enter button. The display will then show the live view of the film to be scanned. This live view is indicated by the yellow indicator located on the top left corner of the display.
  • Page 14 Capture mode If films/photos/cards need adjusting, capture mode can be used to make any changes. When on the photo or film scanner menu, use the left and right buttons to highlight the ‘Capture mode’ icon, then press the enter button to open this mode. This will open the live view of the scanner.
  • Page 15 Capture menu When in the live view, press the scan button to open the capture menu. Use the left and right buttons to highlight the desired action, then press the enter button to confirm.   • Page 16 Auto slideshow Upon entering playback mode, the scanner will enter the automatic slideshow. The auto slideshow indicator will appear on the display.   • Page 17 Rotating and deleting images in playback mode After pausing the slideshow, use the left and right buttons to choose the image you would like to edit. Once it appears on the display, press the enter button to open the menu. Use the left and right buttons to highlight the desired action, then press the enter button to execute it.
  • Page 18 Effect When the photo scanner mode is used, you can access the effect menu which allows you to either place a multicolour or black and white filter over the image before scanning. 1. On the photo scanner menu, use the left and right buttons to highlight the ‘Effect’ icon.
