CHAPTER 6: USING YOUR PHONE

Using the Speakerphone

Your NT-W100D comes equipped with a speakerphone function on its base. This is an
especially useful tool for making conference calls or if you want the convenience of
hands-free Skype calls. Using the speakerphone is simple.
Answering an Incoming Call
If the phone is resting in the base and you would like to answer it on speakerphone,
simply press
Making a Call
In addition to answering incoming calls on the speakerphone, you may want to dial an
outgoing call and place it on speakerphone. This is explained here.
1. Dial your Skype or SkypeOut call using the phone's keypad. Then press
send the call as usual.
2. Press
flash.
3. Now place the phone back on the base. The Speaker light will stay on, and you
will be talking on speakerphone.
4. To end the call, press
Transferring a Call from Speakerphone to the Phone
If at any time you want to take a call off of speakerphone and have a more private
conversation on the phone instead, just pick up the phone and continue talking.
Transferring a Call from the Phone to Speakerphone
You can easily transfer a call from the phone to the speakerphone as well. To do so,
follow steps 2 through 4 of the Making a Call instructions during your call.
