CHAPTER 4: CONNECTING YOUR PHONE
How do I connect my phone?
Once you have Skype and SkyMagic up and running, you can hook your phone up. First,
you need to plug the base into an open USB port using the USB cable included in the
package. Then you will insert the phone's battery and register the phone to the base.
Connecting your phone is easy and will take only a matter of seconds.
Hooking up the Base
1. Take the smaller end of the USB cable and, making sure it is oriented correctly,
plug it into the back of the base. Take the other end of the cable and carefully plug
it into an open USB port on your computer.
2. You will see balloons appear near your system tray indicating that your computer
has detected the base and installed the drivers. This is normal. If you have used a
NexoTek phone before, the balloons might not appear because the necessary
drivers are already installed.
3. You will see the SkyMagic icon become a green phone against a light green
background.
