Troubleshooting

To determine any problem with your receiver, always check the most obvious possible causes first. If any problem still remains after you
have checked the items below, consult your nearest TEAC dealer.
Problem
Amplifier
When listening to the music in stereo,
left/right speaker sounds reversed.
Low hum or buzzer sound.
Sound is only heard from one channel.
Sound cut during listening to the music
or no sound even though power is ON.
Tuner
An unusual hissing noise is heard when
listening to the broadcast in stereo,
but not heard when listening
monaurally.
Noise is excessive in both stereo and
monaural broadcasts.
Sound is distorted and/or the volume
level becomes low.
Excessive distortion in the sound of
stereo broadcasts.
Remote Control Unit
Remote control impossible.
Probable Cause
Speakers are connected wrongly.

Remedy
After checking, if needed, connect correctly

the treble controls.
