For maintenance batteries, open the caps, check the electrolyte level in each compartment and top
up with distilled water if necessary (the plates must not be exposed to the air).
Leave the plugs open during charging!
If the terminals are oxidised, brush them with a wire brush!
1- the charger must be unplugged, and you must select the charging modes: 6 or 12V, fast or
slow charging. The circuit breaker in the upper position.
2- connect the clip of the red (+) cable of the device to the positive terminal of the battery.
3- Connect the clamp of the black (-) cable to the vehicle chassis if the battery is connected or
to the (-) terminal of the battery if it is removed.
4- Check that the clamps are securely attached to the terminals. Connect the charger, the
charge starts.
Charging time should be less than 10 hours.
You can follow the charge using the voltmeter built into the unit.
If the battery you wish to charge is short-circuited or is fully charged, the ammeter needle
will indicate 0 at the time of connection.
END OF LOAD
The end of charge can also be seen as soon as the battery liquid starts to bubble (noise), you can
also see it with a voltmeter (14.4V max for a 12V battery, and 7.2V max for a 6V battery).
Mode of operation: DISCONNECTION
1- Disconnect the power supply to the charger.
