Your vehicle's climate control system may be
filled with the refrigerant R134a. The refriger‐
ant R134a contains fluorinated greenhouse
gas.
* NOTE Damage due to incorrect refriger‐
ant or refrigerant compressor oil
If the incorrect refrigerant or refrigerant com‐
pressor oil (PAG oil) is used, this can damage
the climate control system.
Use only R‑134a refrigerant and the PAG
#
oil approved for your vehicle by
Mercedes-Benz.
Do not mix the approved PAG oil with
#
another PAG oil.
Maintenance work, such as topping up the refrig‐
erant or replacing components, may be carried
out only by a qualified specialist workshop. All
applicable regulations, as well as SAE standard
J639, must be adhered to.
Have all work on the climate control system car‐
ried out at a qualified specialist workshop.
