Hints completely before beginning. (Finishing Hints
enclosed with chair instructions.)
Store the parts: 1) in their box; 2) in a dry place; 3) in
temperatures ranging from 40° to 90°. (Not on a cold,
possibly damp, cement floor.)
Inspect your furniture periodically for any loose glue
joints or screws, or any other problem which may
be affecting the stability of your furniture. Tighten or
repair as needed.

  • Page 3 468W Wessex Chair Frame ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS TOOLS REQUIRED: Phillips Screwdriver, Wood Glue, Hammer & Nail Set IMPORTANT: READ GLUING HINTS BEFORE ASSEMBLING! Decorative edge must be toward the bottom front. FIG. 1 1) Spread glue in dowel holes in the Left and Right Front Legs (EE & FF). Tap 3/8" Dowels (K) securely into holes.
  • Page 4 FIG. 3 Angled end of side stretcher. 3) Spread glue in the elongated hole and dowel hole in each back leg and attach the side aprons and side stretchers. The smaller dowels in the side stretchers must go into the legs with the 1" brads in the stretcher assembly facing down.

Spread a light layer of glue in the upper and lower notches of a Back Corner Block (GG) and insert in the grooves in the back and side aprons.
