SPEAKER SETUP MENU

SIZE

Select a speaker that you want to adjust. Press
Small or Off ).
large : If you have connected the system to a speaker with a low
frequency of 100Hz or below, select [Large]. If you have not connected
a subwoofer, always select [Large] for Front speaker (L/R).
Small : If you have connected the system to a speaker without a low
frequency of 100Hz or below, select [Small].
off : When you do not have a certain speaker connected, select [Off ].
NOTES
• [Front L/R] speaker's size can be set to [Large] or [Small] only.
• If Front L/R speaker's size is set to [Small], Rear and Surround speaker's
size can only be set to [Small] or [Off].
• Subwoofer's size can be set only to [On] or [Off].
• These settings are not available for SACD discs.
• [Center], [Surround L/R] and [Subwoofer] settings are not available
when the [Analog Output] setting is set to [Stereo] (see also the section
"Analog Output").

reSet
The Speaker Size settings can be reset to their initial factory settings by
selecting [On] at the [Reset] option.
When [On] is selected, the confirmation screen appears.
Select [Yes] to reset the setting, and then press ENTER. The [Size] settings
are now reset to their initial factory settings.
Select [Off ] for the settings to remain unchanged.

DISTANCE

Setting the Distance lets the speakers know how far the sound has to travel
to reach your set listening point. This allows the sound from each speaker to
reach the listener at the same time.

Distance can be displayed as [Feet] or [Meter] selectable at the [Unit] item.
NOTES
• [Center] distance setting cannot be specified beyond or below 5ft (1.5m)
of the [Front L/R] setting.
• [Surround L/R] distance setting cannot be specified beyond or below 15ft
(4.5m) of the [Front L/R] setting.
reSet
The Speaker Distance settings can be reset to their initial factory settings by
selecting [On] at the [Reset] option.
When [On] is selected, the confirmation screen appears.
Select [Yes] to reset the setting, and then press ENTER. The [Distance]
settings are now reset to their initial factory settings.
Select [Off ] for the settings to remain unchanged.
