The heating elements on the Comfort Zone CZQTV00 Series unit may not light up or heat due to the following reasons:
1. Power Issue – Ensure the heater is plugged into a working 120V AC, 15 Amp (or larger) circuit. The power indicator light should be illuminated when the unit has power. 2. Safety Tip-Over Switch – The heater has a safety switch that turns off power if it tips over. Ensure the heater is on a smooth, level surface and upright. 3. Control Settings – The Power Control Dial must be set to LOW (750W) or HIGH (1,500W), and the Thermostat Control should be rotated clockwise to the HIGH setting. 4. Overheat Protection – If the unit overheats, the safety overheat protection may shut it off. Allow the heater to cool and reset if necessary. 5. Obstructions – Blocked air intakes or exhaust vents can affect performance. Ensure proper airflow around the heater.
If none of these resolve the issue, further troubleshooting or contacting customer service may be necessary.
