Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Before starting the unit, make sure the operating voltage stated on the type
label corresponds to the power mains available in your area.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Be very careful when the unit is used in the presence of children. Do not leave
the unit unattended while in use.
Use the unit only for brewing coffee or for heating water. Do not heat any other
liquids or food stuff in the unit. The unit is only intended for domestic use and
not for continuous professional operation.
Only use the included accessory.
Do not lead the power cable around sharp corners or over hot surfaces.
Place the unit on a level surface during use. Do not place the unit in a sink, on
a drip board or on any inclined surfaces.
Never immerse the coffee maker into liquids of any kind.
Do not use the unit outdoors or close to open flames, heaters or other hot
objects or other heat sources.
Pull the power cord and turn off the unit before assembling, disassembling,
cleaning the unit or when you intend not to use it for a longer period of time.
Never pull on the power cable, but grasp the plug itself to unplug. Avoid
handling with wet hands.
Before cleaning or storing the unit, allow it to cool down.
Do not touch any hot parts of the appliance. The temperature of some
surfaces can be high during operation.
To avoid spilling do not overfill the container. Always close the cover before
starting the unit.
If the unit or the power cable is damaged, the unit must not be operated any
further, but should be repaired by a professional. Do not disassemble the unit
and do not try to repair it yourself. The unit does not contain parts serviceable
by you. Contact our service department.
