Battery - replacement

Open battery-cover to the down side. Replace battery, with anode outside. Now close the battery-cover very carefully.

Trouble shooting

Trouble	Cause	Correction way
No display	Voltage too low Battery has no contact	Replace battery Clean contacts
LCD does not count	Fault in electronic	Put battery out and replace after 30 sec. or take new battery
Display flashing	Voltage too low	Replace battery

Function

	Description	Remark
Preparing	Open fixing screw, clean the measuring faces and switch the caliper on
Origin resetting	Keep measuring faces to contact and press (ZERO) key	You can reset the caliper at any position
MM/INCH conversion	Press (inch/mm) key to be in METRIC or in INCH system condition

NOTES:
Please prepare with measuring very carefully. Keep surfaces clean. The caliper should be regulary cleaned with cotton-cloth. Do not use petrol. Do not expose the caliper direct to the sun light, ultraviolet rays or extreme temperatures.

Prevent it from any shock and do not immerse the caliper in any liquid.

Electric etching or engraving by high voltage can destroy the electronic chip, no guarantee will be given!

Never dismantle the caliper housing. The battery should be taken out, if no use for a long time.

Do not give used batteries in refuse. Please give it to a special collecting depot.
