The DVD-ROM and multi-function drives employ a laser system. To ensure
proper use of this product, please read this instruction manual carefully and

Never attempt to disassemble, adjust or repair an optical drive (CD/DVD drive,
CD-RW drive, Multi-drive or equivalent drive). You could damage the drive. You
would also be exposed to laser light or other safety hazards, resulting in serious
injury. Always contact an authorized Toshiba service provider, if any repair or
adjustment is required.
