while uploading data to or downloading data
from SmartMedia.

Doing so could damage or erase the internal data.
Be sure to save data to another medium at reg-
ular intervals in case the data stored in

We are not liable, however, for data saved to any
other medium.
Make sure SmartMedia contains no essential
data or files before formatting.

the SmartMedia is erased.
Data in SmartMedia cannot be protected from
overwriting, so be careful when loading data.

Even if you attach an "Overwriting Prohibited" sticker
to your SmartMedia, it will not be recognized by
FlashPath. Therefore, be careful not to erase or replace
data inadvertently.
If a strange odor, strange sound or smoke is emitted
while using FlashPath,immediately turn off the power

and unplug the PC power cord from the electric outlet.
