2 About your SpineMaster

• The booklet is put into the Book Loading Slot, until it
rests on a Latch. Sensors detect the presence of the
booklet.

• The Clamp holds the booklet, the Latch swings away
and the Carriage passes along the spine of the
booklet to reform it.
• When Pass Through Mode is selected, the Clamp
releases and the booklet drops into the Stacker.
• When Manual Unload Mode is selected, the Latch
swings back into position and the Clamp releases
the booklet, which may then be removed by hand.
The following notes refer to the main external components
of the machine, as shown in Fig 2.
Back Stops : Booklets can be stacked on the top of the
SpineMaster before and after processing. The Back
Stops prevent booklets falling off the back of the machine.
Mains ON/OFF : The Mains ON/OFF switch is on the front
of the machine. 1 = ON, 0 = OFF.
Mains Input : The Mains Input (not illustrated) is on the
back of the machine. Alongside the Mains Input is a label
indicating the machine voltage requirements.
Book Loading Slot : Books to be processed are placed
spine first into the Book Loading Slot.
