The msignage LS15™ system is directly built inside the device and needs not be installed. Simply unpack the device and plug it in, and you can use it right away!
Hardware Instruction Despite its compact size, the fanless lightweight msignage LS15™ is capable of providing full function and expansion of different connection ports. You can import and store up medium data for the electronic display board with up to three USB ports and a 3-in-1 cardreader.
Electronic Display Board msignage LS15™ supports VESA industrial wall mount standards. Due to the compact size and fanless design of msignage LS15™, it is recommended to directly install msignage LS15™ at the back of the LCD panel by using the enclosed VESA standard wall mount accessories for the most flexible electronic display board applications.
Control Complex operations are not required for the setting and administration of msignage LS15™. Press the [msi] login button on the enclosed wireless remote control, the play screen will be immediately switched to the administration login screen. After logging in the system successfully, the screen will display the options of the main menu. Information about the options is given in the table below: Option Description USB portable disks and portable hard disks are supported; the Upload integrated memory card slot supports memory cards such as SD/SDHC, MemoryStick cards.
Upload Data The upload function provides uploading service for files in supported formats, which can be categorized into four types: Pictures Movies Flash files (animation) Plain text files Pictures Movies Photos or images. To import the above media contents to msignage LS15™, the user may choose [Upload] on the main menu to synchornize the contents in the database immediately. When choosing the [Upload] function, a prompt window will pop up, reminding the user to have the peripheral storage device connected.

Choose among pictures, movies, flash files, and plain text files the medium content that you want to upload to msignage LS15™. The screen will then list all medium files in the peripheral storage device that belong to the category. In addition to file names, picture and image files can also be previewed in the list.

The upload confirmation screen will be displayed prior to uploading. You can return to the file format selection screen. If you choose to continue, the upload operation will be performed. Once the upload operation is completed, an upload completion message will be displayed.
Program Editing Add a Program Choose [Program Editing] in the main menu screen to enter the secondary menu screen. Here, the user can choose the built-in templates of the system to add, modify, and remove programs. First, choose [Add a program] and then press the [Selection] button on the remote control.

The system will then display the template block setup screen. The user can press the left/right buttons on the remote control to choose the block to be set. Press the [Selection] button to enter the setup screen of the each block. Once all blocks are set, choose [Save As] to save the program or [Exit] to cancel and return to the menu screen.

To set the “picture, movie, and others” block, press the [Selection] button on the block to be set. The screen will then prompt you to choose the block category. After choosing the block category, press the [Selection] button. The screen will then display the block content setting screen. On the right is the data selection area and on the left is the selected data area.

Modify a Program You can modify previously set program data in [Program Editing] -> [Modify a program]. The screen will display the existing program data of the system. Press the up/down button on the remote control to choose the program data to be set and press the [Selection] button to modify the program data in accordance with the procedures as those of [Add a program].

Remove a Program You can remove a previously set program data in [Program Editing] -> [Remove a program]. The screen will display the existing program data of the system. Press the up/down button on the remote control to choose the program data to be removed and press the [Selection] button to remove the program data.

The screen will display the deletion confirmation screen. Choose [Yes] to remove the program and [No] to skip to the main menu screen without deleting the program. If the program is set by scheduling, a screen will display prompting you that the program is set by scheduling and asking you if you still want to remove the program.
Program Scheduling Select [Program Scheduling] in the main menu screen to enter the secondary menu screen. The user can choose [Set schedule] here to schedule programs, [Schedule insertion] to insert programs, [Return] to return to the main menu screen. Press the up/down button to select the time block and the [Selection] button to enter the time block and set the play time interval and program data.

When no schedule is set, the starting time of the time block is 00:00 (hour:minute) and the ending time of the time block is 24:00. If a schedule is set, the time block shall be the time block selected that is not set (such as the empty time block between 18:00 and 23:00 as shown below).

Select a program with the up/down button, press the left/right button to move to the [Preview] option and press the [Selection] button to preview the program. Press the [msi] button to return to the schedule selection screen. Choose [Preview] to return to the previous page. After choosing the program to be scheduled with the up/down button, press the [Selection] button to finish setup.
Program Insertion Press [Set] to set program insertion. The process is the same as that of schedule program selection, please refer to the steps of schedule program selection. When the setting is completed, the [Set] option will be changed to [Unset].
