  • Page 6 CanadaDocks PLEASE NOTE: It is suggested to use a 4” or longer Philips #3 Bit for fastening joist intersections. STF075 CLAMP INTERSECTION FASTEN INTERSECTION WITH SCREWS FASTEN TWO SCREWS DIAGONAL FROM ONE ANOTHER At each joist intersection clamp both overlapping joists together. Place two screws at the bottom flange of the top joist in a diagonal pattern (see image above).

  • Page 9 Fit the bracket over the the carriage bolts(CB35S), see above image. Pull the bracket upwards until the carriage bolt heads slip into the narrow slots of the bracket. Fasten the existing nuts and retighten the carriage bolts in this position. Perform this Step for brackets located on both ends of the access platform (See above image). Page 9 CanadaDocks Inc.
  • Page 10 Loosen nuts. Using two people connect the access platform by hooking the bracket onto the two loose bolts. Do this for both brackets located on both ends of the access platform. Page 10 CanadaDocks Inc.
  • Page 11 Place a corner bumper(CBR1) on the corner of the dock. Slip the indented lip of the corner bumper against the edge of the dock. Fasten a 1” screw (STR1) for each indent on the top of the corner bumper. Do this for both corners on the access platform.
  • Page 12 1 Foot Place the P-Bumper(PBR8) along the edge of the access platform. Starting two inches from the edge fasten screws(STR1) at 6 inch intervals on the top of the P-Bumper. For the bottom of the P-Bumper add screws(ST075) at 1 foot intervals starting two inches from the edge.
